Townspeople worked perfectly today Podgorica strikes by the size of parks and squares, surrounded by beautiful tall buildings. Millenium Bridge and the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ, located near the center, became the grandest of the XXI century architectural projects. There is another monument, which will be interesting for tourists from Russia. In 2004 it was established on one of the places a sculpture of Vladimir Vysotsky.
Old buildings have survived only a few Turkish fortresses that were built in the fifteenth century, and the Castle of King Nikola Njegoš, whose construction took place in the nineteenth century. Today the castle houses the Art Gallery, so that in addition to visiting the rich rooms, visitors can see the works of famous painters and sculptors.
